Evgeny Munkov has over 15 years of domestic and international experience in investments and finance, specializing in mid-to-large-scale real estate investments. He leads investment execution and asset management functions across ground-up development, redevelopment, adaptive reuse, value-add, and built-to-hold strategies in the Eastern U.S. and Florida. Evgeny has overseen projects totaling more than $2B in capitalization, including LP/Co-GP/Hybrid/Syndicated investments, REO asset monetization, and development of master-planned communities. He is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, execution, investment/asset management, and value monetization, as well as for managing, training and ensuring performance of analytical, underwriting, execution, and asset management teams.
Prior to his current role, Evgeny worked in middle market credit at Societe Generale, one of the top three financial institutions in France and a leading institution in Europe. He also deployed capital with Uralsib’s investment banking division, one of Russia’s largest financial institutions, and structured institutional commercial real estate investments at Walker & Dunlop, a top U.S. real estate finance and advisory firm.
Evgeny is an Advisory Board member for the Terry W. Stiles School of Real Estate Development at Nova Southeastern University and serves as the Executive Board Member, Treasurer and Programming/Events Co-Chair for the Miami Chapter of the CFA Institute. He is also a Board Member at Canine Assisted Therapy, Inc., and Leadership Broward Foundation, and an alumni member of Leadership Class XLI.
Additionally, he is actively involved in organizations such as NAIOP, Urban Land Institute (where he was a past Executive Committee member of the Young Leaders Group), Miami Finance Forum, and the CRE Finance Council. Evgeny mentors students at University of Miami, Nova Southeastern University, and Urban Land Institute and lectures on investments, finance, and commercial real estate at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
Evgeny is a CFA Charterholder and holds an MS in International Economics and an MBA in Finance and International Business.
