Derek Lubsen is responsible for maximizing the financial performance of all real estate assets owned or managed by Altman Living. His role encompasses overseeing property-specific operating income and expenses, cash management, dispositions, retail leasing and risk management.
Before joining Altman, Derek worked at Lennar Homes, underwriting single-family communities across Florida. He joined Altman in 2008 as a Development Associate and has also held roles with Altman Management Company. With over 20 years of experience in real estate development and commercial asset management, Derek brings extensive expertise to his role.
Derek earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1999 and an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the same institution in 2004.
